Blue eyes, braided blonde hair, & a shy smile. Meticulously detailed, Ellen has human hair and eyelashes, and an exquisitely hand-painted face. The 4 pieces of Ellen’s clothing, gray dress, floral pinafore, starched slip & 1-piece undergarment, have the Annette Himstedt signature label. In-mold, on the back of her neck, is the name, ELLEN. Further down is the in-mold artist's signature. Clothing the original owner added to her Ellen display included: CHER AMI’S BONNETS MILLIE HUENE bonnet & a pair of white socks + shoes. Annette Himstedt closed her factory in 2008. Locating her dolls, particularly those from the 1980s, is challenging.
