-David Lynch’s first draft, written with De Vore and Bergren, his Elephant Man co-writers. This draft would have, like the modern movie, covered just the first half of the book.
-Pierre Morel’s Dune, written by Chase Palmer. This draft, which emphasizes the political intrigue of the novel, was put into preproduction in the early 2010s under the direction of Pierre Morel (Taken), only to collapse when he moved on. A lot of the concept art on the Internet is from his film.
-Denis Villaneuve’s Dune. The shooting draft of the current adaptation.
