English Sheffield Silverplate Cream Pitcher and Sugar Bowl Ornate Hand Chased m
On offer is a fine, late 18th or early 19th century English silver plate pitcher/jug and open sugar bowl.   Fine florals, scrollwork and central cartouche with no monogram.   The bowl is marked with a starburst.  Most likely a Sheffield silver maker.  Pitcher measures 5.25 inch height. 4.5 inch spout to handle width.  Sugar bowl is 5 inch height.  Opening is 3.25 inches across.  There is wear to the gilt interior on sugar bowl.   Cream pitcher has one small dent on lower body near foot. No areas of plate loss on exterior and the patina is very nice.  Overall, the set is in good condition and displays well!  Please view all photos.
