    These had a 1944 Anchorage Liquor Store calendar in the bottom of the box, so I am pretty sure these are from some time in the mid to late 1940s.
    These are new, never used. In near MINT condition. The top of the box these came in is missing, but the bottom is still here. There are 4 pressed cork place mats, and 4 coasters. The place mats measure about 11.25 by 17 inches, and the coasters about 3.4 by 3.4 inches square. The mats are thick, being about 1/16 inch thick.
    These are very colorful, and have good detail. There is: “The Seal of the Territory of Alaska”, Alaskan Husky, Polar Bears, Mt. McKinley, 20,300 ft., Totem Pole, Alaskan Glacier, and “Alaska, Land Of The Midnight Sun”.
    While these are fantastic place mats, they would look even better in a frame, hanging on the wall. Buy these, and you have 4 great pieces of art to frame.
