To celebrate their 80th anniversary, Omas introduces the Bologna Celluloid Collection, their first line to bear the name of the city where it all began.
The Bologna represents Omas’ commitment to contemporary style and flawless functionality with its new design, an 18kt commemorative nib, and its extraordinary, colorful celluloid material.
Pleasant to the touch and well balanced, the Bologna offers a simple but refined look in its tapered round barrel and rhodium plated finishings.
The conical, perfectly balanced shape of the Bologna collection is also relived in a new Celluloid version in the exclusive black
&
gold color made precious by the golden trims.
The pen is made of  black with gold veins celluloid, which is characterized by an attractive interplay of these colours in a vein-like pattern.
Whilst maintaining the balance, size becomes even more important when celebrating a writing instrument for enthusiasts and collectors.
The
Clip recalls the roundness of the famous Porticoes in Bologna, engraved on the 14K
Medium (M)
nib.
Since the 1930s, OMAS has been famous worldwide for the processing of its precious Celluloid. Its warm nuances and its luminous reflections make Bologna Collection even more precious.
The concerned pen
is pre-owned. It has not been used or carried, but it has been handled so there are micro scratches present.
No major scratches or issues with the pen. Comes complete with original box
and papers.
A fine piece that isn't common and is becoming more desirable following OMAS' unfortunate close.
This is from original OMAS, not one of the several reissues or custom pens that appeared later. Collector's item.
