One of the most storied pens to have come from the workshop of Armano Simoni is the Arlecchino.
Legend has it that Simoni mixed a batch of several colors of doughy celluloid, put it through a hand pasta maker, and came up with enough plastic to form twelve pens, the best of which he gave to his wife.
The harlequin colors and magic of the old-time circus is captured in this 2000 Limited Edition reproduction of Cavaliere Simoni's inspired creation.
Omas Arlecchino for the 75th anniversary of the OMAS company. This pen is inspired by pens from the early 1900s.
This is a limited edition model in orange, black, and green celluloid. Smooth 18kt Stub (ST) nib.
The pen does not seem to be inked. Near mint condition
except three micro "bubbles" on the clip surface (see photos).
Outer sleeve (worn and poor condition), outer box, black lacquered wood display box, booklet.
A fine piece that isn't common and is becoming more desirable following OMAS' unfortunate close.
    This is from original OMAS,
not one of the several reissues or custom pens that appeared later. Collector's item.
In the 1930’s, OMAS pens differed from other celluloid pens not only in terms of models and technical solutions but also in the incredible number of colours and designs. This was undoubtedly linked to typically Italian artistic imagination.
Arco proved a cut above the rest and soon became a hallmark of the House. Arco is not the name of a colour but of a design. It denotes a refined composition of subtle shades blending into the basic colour at the front of the pen to form a narrow arc with a strikingly beautiful effect.
Production was suspended on account of the drastic shortage of the basic raw material caused by World War II and it was only in 1990 that production was resumed after much painstaking research began to bear fruit.
The celluloid is a very precious material that is obtained from wood and embodies all the qualities that make a perfect pen: brightlook, light weight, robustness, pleasant feel and an extraordinary combination of colours. Manufactured using the same methods of OMAS founder, Armando Simoni, a celluloid pen requires 365 days of production, each celluoid pen is a unique piece.

Selling all over the world for us the shipping is an important issue.
We use only high quality materials such as double wall cardboard boxes, extra large buble wrap, polypropylene packaging tape, pvc pipe with high resistance.
Shipment is guaranteed within 24 hours after receiving payment.
We have had some problems with our traditional shipping methods (lost packages, major slowdown in delivery) therefore we decided to move to Fedex Priority Service.
So, the shipping costs are now slightly more expensive (between and 0 depending on destination country, volume and weight of the parcel) but the service is greatly better.
FedEx requires a telephone number (landline or mobile) on the shipping label.
For this reason we kindly ask you to tell us your phone number on the Paypal or with an ebay message.
