Perinos opened in 1932 on Wilshire Boulevard.  It attracted such luminaries as Bugsy Siegle, Cole Porter, Bette Davis, Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, Richard Nixon, Ronald and Nancy Reagan,  Sid Graumen, Dean Martin, Howard Hughs, Frank Capra, Billy Wilder, Eleanor Roosevelt, Margaret O'Brien, Tirone Power, Cary Grant, Charlie Chaplin, Mae West, Zazu Pits, Ronald Coleman, Irene Dunne, Fred Astaire, Joan Crawford, Myrna Loy, Randolph Scott, Kay Frances, Henry Kissinger, Dustin Hoffman and Liz Taylor.   Perinos was the scene of countless power lunches and hushed conversations amongst celebrities.  In the 1950s a mob summit between L.A. mobster "Big Tuna" Accordo and Jack Dragon was even broken up here by L.A. police. The restaurant remained opened until 1986.
