    Description

Gene Roddenberry was an imaginative writer and producer.  Besides STAR TREK, he was involved in other television series and several attempted ones.  Some made it to pilot movies -- Earth II, Questor and Spectre.
"Prince of Lechery" is the story for what would have been the first episode in a series starring Robert Culp and Gig Young, with Majel Barrett is a supporting role.  It is significantly different from the two--hour movie that was ultimately made.
The story is about a paranormal investigator, William Sebastian, and his sidekick Dr. Hamilton Well.  They are clearly patterned on Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.  The story is set in England and involves an aristocratic family that are up to all sorts of devilish no good.
The story is 35 pages.  There are edits to the text which, one presumes, were made by Roddenberry.  The pages are copies and the print is light but legible.  This copy is in good condition.
