    Description

Gene Roddenberry, the creator of Star Trek, tried to create other science-fiction television series.  In 1972, he developed a series format for his top pick:  Genesis II.  In the introductory page, he tries to explain what the series is.  The second point reads:  "The first such television concept concerning Earth in the future."  Alas, the studio only allowed a couple of movie pilots about Dylan Hunt (starring Alex Cord and then John Saxon) but wouldn't commit to a series, so Roddenberry's expansive vision was never realized.
This 47-page Bible provides an elaborate description of the post-apocalyptic future world Dylan Hunt discovers when he is awoken from cryogenic sleep in 2077!  All the major new characters are covered, plus descriptions of more than a dozen proposed episodes.
This copy is in very good condition, although the xeroxed pages are light.  Three-hole punched with two brass fasteners.
