Reed & Barton #1580 Antique Sugar Bowl Without Lid

Description

This sugar bowl is 4" tall and 4 5/8 across the base; it is silver plated, and heavy duty.  The piece was manufactured and plated by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Massachusetts; it was made in the 1930's, though the company had been around since 1824, and in fact much of their ware is used in the White House to this day.  The lid is missing, but it's still a beautiful sugar bowl, and a collector item; no doubt it has a rich, and interesting history.
