STAR WARS Empire Strikes Back screenplay (fourth draft) by Kasdan and Brackett

Description

This is the fourth draft of The Empire Strikes Back screenplay, dated Ocober 24, 1978.  Writing credit is given to Leigh Brackett and Larry Kasdan.  The script is close to what was filmed, but there are differences.  In this version, the climactic reveal that Darth Vader is Luke's father (referred to as "Insert Dialogue B") is intentionally left out and there is no mention of Luke having a hand cut off.  Ghostly Ben Kenobi has a few more lines, as do many of the other characters.
