    Description

Here’s a real catch for any Blaxploitation or Rudy Ray Moore fans. Years ago I
was chatting with an actor who had appeared in some B films throughout the
70’s and 80’s and discovered that he had a role in the 1979 grindhouse epic,
THE DISCO GODFATHER … when I asked if he had any memorabilia from
that title, he stunned me by revealing that he still had his original script. When I
began making a big fuss over how scarce Rudy Ray Moore production items are,
he told me he wouldn’t mind if I wanted to make a copy of it. Well, that’s what I
did, so here’s your chance to pick up a clean copy of a super-rare Exploitation film
script from the golden age. It came with an unusual and truly amazing cover graphic
(a cheesy art portrait of Rudy Ray) which is worth the price of this item just by itself.
Just to make this a really nice keepsake, I added a copy of a movie photo from the title
which depicts our hero in peril. This film was originally going to be called “The Wack
    Attack” due to its
drugs in the ghetto theme …
but the title got changed to “The Disco
Godfather” to cash in on Rudy Ray Moore playing that title character which followed
in the tradition of his previous screen hits “Dolemite”, “The Devil’s Son-in-law"  and
“The Human Tornado”. This is the film where Rudy improvised one of his most
memorable lines that remains a fan favorite. While DJ “Disco Godfather” is happily
spinning records for a packed club full of funky dancers, he suddenly blurts out,

Putcho weight awnit, Putcho weight awnit, Putcho weight awnit!
    ” ... The script is
    8 ½ x 11” in size and contains 74 pages.
