    Description

    Offered for sale is a unique Silver Plated Covered Server / Bowl. Could be a cracker container or other. Looks too big for a covered sugar. This item comes to us in very nice estate condition. The Piece is marked as Derby Silver Co. and # 1608. The piece was re-plated in 2009 according to the family note. Reading as : Wedding Gift in Chicago Late 1800's. The piece measures approx. 7 " tall by 5 3/4 " in mid width. Looking at the engraved marking it could be from the aesthetic era. A great vintage covered item for any table or sideboard.
