VINTAGE TAXCO SIGNED NUMBERED STERLING SILVER LINKS BRACELET WITH SAFETY CHAIN

This is a
vintage Mexico sterling silver links bracelet
. Please see my eBay store and my other listings for more silver items. This stunning well-made modernist bracelet from the 1970s or so has six elaborately decorated links and a slide clasp with a safety chain. There are several marks but I can't make out most of them. There is a design number 2102. Design numbers were used by some of the finest silversmiths including Margot de Taxco, Los Ballesteros, Los Castillo and Victoria Brilantis. There is also "Hecho en Mexico" and "925", and there are more words but they are illegible. There is an eagle assay mark with a faint 3? inside, but you need a strong loupe to see it. This desirable bracelet measures approximately 7" around the inside, and the band is 3/4" wide. It weighs a nice 1.1 oz (34 gr) on my little scale. It is in very good condition, with normal signs of use and a little tarnish. There are no bends, dings or dents. The dark areas you see are reflections from my camera.
