The newest member of the Galaxy family now comes with the revered 1911 frame. This offering from WE-Tech has the controls and features familiar to those who love the 1911 series but with a fresh take on the design. The Galaxy 02 1911 has an upper receiver that features a ventilated barrel shroud. Inside this futuristic looking upper receiver is a barrel assembly with an enclosed bolt. The bolt is the primary moving part in this assembly that creates a snappy and crisp blowback recoil feeling and a fast semi-automatic cyclic rate when fired. This is opposed to other designs where the entire slide moves back and forth. Has a full metal frame and upper receiver with fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight. Adjustable Hopup. Hinged takedown style allows quick and easy field stripping for cleaning or hop-up adjustment. This 1911 is also equipped with a lightened competition style trigger. Familiar 1911 controls on the lower frame, with a grip safety, safety switch, and enhanced magazine well. The magazine capacity is 15 + 1 rounds and uses Green Gas. With removable top and bottom M1913 Picatinny compatible rails, almost any accessory can be mounted on this pistol. Grips panels can be replaced with your personal favorite 1911 styled grips. The Galaxy 02 has a Projectile Velocity of 300-320 fps
